Explanation of Features
  • Hardware Management
    • Pre-defined hardware configurations: GLED works with you to define the hardware that your customers require to run your software. This configuration is documented and approved by you prior to implementation.
    • End of Life analysis: GLED will analyze and recommend the most appropriate hardware configurations for your business. We aim to stabilize the hardware platforms offered to your end-users by maximizing the life of each configuration.
    • Change management: GLED offers comprehensive change management processes that include management down to BIOS or revision level. This supports your own certification and software testing procedures.
       
  • Order Creation
    • On-line orders: GLED provides an on-line, customized e-commerce storefront simplifying the hardware ordering process. Access to your pre-defined hardware configuration simplifies the consumer ordering process.
      • Referral Option: end-users are able to place hardware orders on-line. Your storefront is accessible via your existing web site.
      • Distribution Option: orders are placed by your staff using the GLED storefront to obtain customer quotes. An on-line tool enables you to apply your own margins to the prices of our hardware.
    • Phone orders (Referral Option): GLED offers a telephone-ordering service for end-users providing additional assistance should it be required.
       
  • Fulfillment
    • Customization: Every system is custom built to your exact specifications and needs and is easily upgradeable.
    • Free software loads: GLED preloads your software applications onto the PC prior to customer delivery.
    • Applications testing: GLED will test any software applications loaded in accordance with your own quality control procedures.
    • Inventory stocking/management: All inventory is stored at the GLED warehouse in Buffalo, NY. There is no need for you to hold additional inventory. We will be pleased to work with you to develop appropriate service levels for system build and shipping.
    • Deployment services: GLED will deliver hardware directly to your end-users with software pre-loaded reducing your deployment times and removing the need for you to touch the PC before it reaches the customer.
       
  • End-User Support
    • Hardware support: GLED offers on-site service as well as phone service and support for all Elite System PCs reducing your support infrastructure costs.
    • Express warranty for peripherals: GLED provides users with next day delivery of replacement parts.
    • Hard drive restoration: Should the user’s hard drive fail, GLED will ship a replacement to the end-user and an on-site technician will reload data files from the user’s back-up media.
       
  • ISV Partner Support
    • Program management: GLED is experienced in the development and management of customized programs supporting the complex requirements of our clients. We will work with you to define the best program for your particular situation.
    • Dedicated Business Development Manager: You will be allocated your own Business Development Manager responsible for ensuring the fast and accurate implementation of your program.
    • On-line support: GLED provides you with access to our on-line support where, amongst other services, you can track orders from your end-users and commission payments due.
    • Partnership commission (Referral Option): GLED pays you a commission on each order placed by your end-users.
